About Papamoa Local
Papamoa Local is a community business directory for Papamoa, New Zealand — built to make local businesses easier to discover, support and contact.
Who runs Papamoa Local
Papamoa Local is proudly managed by Elevate Digital Design, a Papamoa-based web design business that helps local businesses build a strong online presence. The directory is run locally, for locals.
How businesses are chosen
Every listing on Papamoa Local is a real business based in or serving Papamoa and the wider Bay of Plenty. Businesses send their details through the Get Listed page, and each submission is reviewed by a person before it goes live — we check that the business is genuine, local and accurately described. We don't scrape or auto-generate listings.
How paid listings work
A Basic listing is free. Businesses can choose a paid Featured or Premium plan for higher placement on the homepage and in their category. Paid listings are always marked with a "Featured listing" badge, and featured listings are paid placements. Paying for a plan changes placement only — it never buys reviews, ratings or a say in what we write about a business.
